This hotel's "perfect location" near Downtown, the Capitol, Union Station and the Smithsonian museums is one of its big draws, but guests also admire the "Irish decor", the staff's "friendliness" and the "beautiful rooms" with "beds you dream of" and "plasma wall-mounted TVs"; it's too bad some find the quarters "small" with "old furniture" and "poor" a/c vent locations.

Closeness to Union Square and friendly staff
Rooms were very small and a little dated.

Staying at the Phoenix Park Hotel was a positive experience. The hotel was clean, the staff members were courteous and hepful, and the location was perfect. The rooms were tight, as we were warned they would be, but it worked out fine as we did not spend much time there anyway. The Dublin Bar and Restaurant served good food in an enjoyable atmosphere. ...read more

Good location to all sites and museums.
No outside view - small room window that faced brick wall.

Room was quite small but neat and tidy with comfortable bed. Loved the Irish bar/restaurant attached to the hotel. Good food and cold beer. We only stayed one night as such spent minimal time in the room. Feel the hotel was good value for money. ...read more
